Since this bolt is threaded in the picture,(head is off)it should not be holding the drive from coming out.
(Just holds the trim tab in)
Is this true, got all the bolts out but cant get the drive off.

Thanks Mike

"OK,guess I need to beat on it more huh? lol

That area is stuck like the bolt is holing it in but by the size of it and because its threaded from the head, would not think the caseing is threaded also!

Yes there is a large vertical

Yes there is a large vertical holding bolt as Charles says. Does the lower unit drop at all? I wonder if the Driveshaft is holding onto the powerhead?

"shift linkage is under the ca

"shift linkage is under the carbs,it may have a pin,/ bolt 7 1/6" nut, should just drop after."

I would put 2 bolts on a few t

I would put 2 bolts on a few turns to support the L/unit then takeout the bolt mentioned under the carbs that goes thru your shift linkage and it should drop without effort.

Took the pin out and the drive

Took the pin out and the drive didnt drop anymore.
And its not stuck inside to the flywheel.

Cant really see how taking that pin out will let the drive drop ( ITs connected to a L shaped rod)

Its like shift rod is still connected in the drive.

"give it a few shakes,it shoul

"give it a few shakes,it should wiggle it way down
looks like everything is disconnected,in the photos"
