"i have a honda bf100, it star

"i have a honda bf100, it starts fine but after its warm, it dies at low idle but when i turn the idle up it idles irregularly. it will idle normal for 10 seconds then rev up then rev down.

my guess is the float is messed up... but if looks fine, no cracks and its not full of fuel.
the book says to adjust the float to .388 to .400. But i dont know where to mesure from or to. the rest of the carb looks great, jets are fine.

any helpful hint would be nice.

"the float should look roughly

"the float should look roughly parallel with the lip of the bowl when the carb is turned upside down. You either have clogged jets, or a vacuum leak. With the engine running at idle, spray starter fluid around the carb gaskets (on the engine side of the carb). If the RPM's change, you need new gaskets."
