I am trying to figure out where my problem lies. I have had an intermittent starting problem. Turn the key to "on" and the guages do not respond as normal (nothing happens at all), continue turning key to "start" and complete silence(no clicking no buzz-nothing). 30 minutes later turn the key and she starts ????

I figured it could be the key switch so I replaced that, however the problem continues. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I begin replacing stuff for no reason.

Ensure your battery connections and connections at starter and all grounds are all good, clean and tight.
Been down that road too many times to not start at the basics.

There are one or more wire harness plugs under the dash. Pull them apart and inspect the pins for corrosion or darkened pins.
