intake 1987 5.7

guy's, i have a 1987 5.7 260 h.p. 350 with a 4-bbl quad with a low rise stock intake. my question is how much h.p. would i gain by going to a high rise intake,and tuned headers.is there a majic# to go by.thanks.

intake ,maybe 5hp .Never seen tuned wet exaust headers for a marine application.

Your money would be better spent on a set of Vortec heads. This would require an intake change as well, but a lot of bang for the buck.

I agree, you will not feel a differance with the intake alone. Vortec heads flow much better than standard.
