Installing a Yamaha temp indication

I have 2004 Yamaha 150 HPDI . I do not have engine temp indication .I would like to know if there are provision for installing a pick up on the engine ? , and is there a kit out there for this purpose ? Tks , Bob

You only have an overheat if running YAMI gauges

There is a port on the top of usually the port cylinder head into which a temperature sender can be screwed. Wiring from the sender then runs to a gauge that will give you a general indication of the operating temperature of the motor.
