Installing a tach.

I want to put a tach on my boat but I have no idea where I would hook up wires. Is there a wire harness that is made for this purpose?

model is J40elcde. There is a 3prong connector on the control box but I would consider that to be on the back under the cables.

That's the tach hook up connector. Get a plug for it, and you are good to go. Three wires, 12v+, a ground, and the tach signal.
