Install charging system on a 99

have a 96 Merc 9.9 that i want

have a 96 Merc 9.9 that i want to add a charging system to. Do i just add a stator and rectifier and run 2 wires down to the battery???

For the 500, you need the flywheel, coil and rectifier. Try used parts on eBay.
