I have 1973 silverton sedan 27ft with fresh water cooled engine. This year am getting some leaking in engine compartment.Some said stuffing box may need repacking.But I don't know where it is or how to do it.Help! Patsy

The suffing box is between the shaft coupling and the hull itself.

Keep looking on eBay for "boat propellers". See lots of them on there. Also, check the Classifieds on this site.

Stuffing boxes need to

Stuffing boxes need to have their packing changed every few years or the packing material looses its lubricity and damages the shaft.

Something else to put on your To Do List.
