"I have a 88 bayliner capri, was running like a champ until recently I had to have the impeller replaced.

After it was replaced, tested it by hooking up the water to the outdrive only to see that the impeller was not circulating up the water to the motor therefore causing the engine to run a little hot. I am new at all this boat stuff and any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

Did you disconnect the RW hose

Did you disconnect the RW hose at the thermostat housing and confirm that water is not getting there?

Why did you have to have the i

Why did you have to have the impeller replaced? Do you know if the old one was missing any vanes? If so there could be some blockage in the system.
