In line fuel filters

I was reading a couple of post

I was reading a couple of posts and found that an in line filter may mess with the fuel oil mix. What kinda damage or things I might want to look for. Could that have been a cause of one of my carbs going bad.

I've used an inline filter

I've used an inline filter for years and have not had a problem. This site has in line filters listed as does Moeller. Checke the manufacturers site for confirmation.

i run an inline myself and same as mike no probs.

i am still watching mikes post about the water seperator cause i was wondering the same thing. the seperator has 4 fittings can these extra fittings be just plugged are there filter/seperators that only have a simple in-out? ive had water in my system before and it is a pain!
