"I have a 1966 evinrude sportwin 9.5 outboard. I installed an impeller, didnt work, turns out my water tube was messed up, so I took apart engine and reinstalled the watertube and all that, just got put back together and thought I would double check the impeller since I went through all that.
Anyway when I installed the impeller the 1st time, it was sitting in the housing, the vanes were clockwise. When I double checked after taking apart the powerhead to reinstall the watertube they were in an counter-clockwise position. Did they reform there self to the proper way?
which way are they suppose to go..? on diagram they are counterclockwise but if you were to flip the housing over like you were looking at it they would be clockwise. lost................"
