"I have changed the distributor cap, rotor, distributor module, coil and still do not have spark. I have checked for continuity in the pickup and show 775 ohms of resistance. Also, I have 12V from the key to the coil and from the coil to the distributor, but still have no spark. Can it be a problem with the reluctor? Please advise."

"Did you check the coil wire? If your wires are old, they're probably past their useful life. I have seen many motors run after changing only the coil wire, when there had been no spark before."

Wow! That's a toughie. I'm afraid you'll need to change a few more parts until you find the culprit--assuming the distributor is turning.

I recall helping my buddy solve his ignition problem once--the distibutor shaft had broken inside and wasn't turning.
