Re: Ignition Switch Wiring

You need a ignition switch with six (6) terminals indicated by JWB as follows:

M - Has a raised tower like terminal = Black/Yellow (powerpack)
M - Regular type terminal = Black (ground)
B - Red/Violet (Actually is Red/Purple) (battery voltage)
S - White (starter solenoid)
C - Violet/White (Actually is Purple/White)
A - Violet (Actually is Purple)

Brown (Actually TAN) = Warning horn terminal closest to built in horn ground wire.
Gray = To tachometer sensor terminal

Re: Ignition Switch Wiring

That's correct, I did. Apparently you didn't see the very first line of my previous reply.

What are the five terminals on your switch marked.

Re: Ignition Switch Wiring

The missing terminal on your igniion switch is the "C" (choke) terminal. If you have a separate choke switch, the Violet/White would connect to one of the choke switch terminals...... with the other choke switch terminal having a wire connecting to the "A" terminal of the ignition switch.

All of the other wires would connect to the ignition switch as previously posted above.
