Ignition switch 1994 90hp force

my94/90hp force starts runs but it will not kill the engine when you turn off the ign. Please help

Check the obvious 1st. Loose, broken, or corroded leads from the ignition switch to the engine is where I'd start. A service manual would cover this in detail.
