I am having a hard time findin

I am having a hard time finding a locksmith who has key blanks that match my OEM ignition key for my 1972 AQ130C. I only have the one key I use all the time and obviously need to get a spare or two. I wonder if it might be easier to just replace the ignition switch to something more modern which has key blanks readily available?

20-40 bucks isn't bad at all for a whole new ignition switch with new spare keys in the box... sounds like less of a hassle too.

Where are you located? There is a locksmith here on Cape Cod that has most of the VP blanks. He cut a spare for my 1980 BB140A
