Ignition Coils

This may sound like a stupid q

This may sound like a stupid question. But I purchased 2 new ignition coils and they came with the parts in the bag. I have no idea how to put these together. There is metal spring looking thing and the rubber boot. How does the metal spring go on the ingnition wire. Your help is greatly appreciated.

"Just stick the sharp hook of the spring through the cable, be sure it goes through the lead, use some contact grease, and push the cable with spring attached into the boot. Be sure the spring part gets alignet to fit onto the coil/spark plug."

"here is a little trick that will benefit you..
take wire strippers,strip the wire back 1/4 of an inch.Now,bend the metal wire,so that it lays flat against the other....now insert prong on spring into wire,making sure that the round spring is being held against the wire u bent back....This method gives u 2 chances of having a good,solid electrical connection."
