Hello,
Just doing another check on my 1989 Johnson 100Hp (J100STLCEM).
Below, first results are Red lead to Primary terminal and Black lead to ground.
Second results are Red lead to Primary terminal and Black lead to High Tension/Secondary terminal.
Values in Manual:
First test 0.1 (+- 0.05) Ω
Second test 225-325 Ω
#1 Cylinder Coil:
0.1 Ω
254 Ω
#2 Cylinder Coil:
0.1 Ω
253 Ω
#3 Cylinder Coil:
0.2 Ω (slightly high?)
260 Ω
#4 Cylinder Coil:
0.1 Ω
250 Ω
#3 Coil is a bit off...anything to worry about, look out for?
