Hi all
Just got a hold of a 1976 evinrude 55 and started going over it the other day.
I have inspected the ignition coils and they looked a bit corroded so removed and cleaned them up a bit. When i did this I noticed some green coating on the back which was attached to engine block.
What is this green coating is it an insulation to seperate the coil from the block or is it just an anti-corrosion paint?
