Ignition box not working where to next

"81 90hp motor, no spark on one side, I swapped boxes, no spark, swapped coils no spark. everything worked on the other side, so i can rule out those parts. but where to next? how do you check the stator, or should I be looking at the ignition switch? thanks in advance for the help."

"I would bet it is a timer bas

"I would bet it is a timer base issue, under the flywheel. The factory manual has a great section on testing all of this. If you don't have a factory manual, I'm sure one of the pro's will chime in here with some quick diagnostic advice for you."

Try checking your amphenol con

Try checking your amphenol connectors. I lost one bank and it ended up being a broke pin in the plug...hard to find unless you pullem' apart.
