I just replaced my iginition switch 1996 baliner capri, and I have a yellow wire with black strip left over. I'm pretty sure its for my choke as when I touch it to battery wire I hear a click under the carb. But when I hooked it up to the choke terminal and turn the engine on it starts and then shuts off. If I disconnect this wire then the engine starts and keeps running. Any suggestions? Sorry for ignorance but just started trouble shooting some issues with boat and learning as I go.
