Idle issue

Hello
Im new to evinrude motors and the motor I have is a 1979 115hp outboard and I’m having issues with the idle on it I’m not able to get it to idle down as well as it will not stay running. I have went through the carbs on it and cleaned everything.

The first step is a compression test.----Post the actual values here.-----How did the motor run for you last season ?

Did you order carb kits, pull out the welch plugs and clean the low speed jets and passages? I bet not. I'd look at that first.
