Idle air control valve (60hp EFI 2012)

My Merc 2012 60hp EFI as a tremor (hesitancy) at idle. It does not stop but could be smoother.
Here in Canada, a new IAC solenoid will cost over 100$.
This part is easily accessible, can we carefully clean it?

No youtube on this outboard subject.

I just found out today there is a RECALL from Mercury for these Idle Air Control Valves. Call your local Merc dealer and let them check your serial number against the ones affected.
