Identifying this piece??

So, I have found several items in shallow water off the coast of Florida which lead me to believe they are some type of marine engine part. The items were completely encrusted in concretion but after several days soaking in a solution and some chisel work, I've managed to clear the majority off one item. I've been having trouble posting the pics for some reason, but if you can help to identify this piece, I will gladly show you the pics.

The one on the right looks like an electric motor armature.

2X on the second one...the one on the left may be a barnacle encrust distributor if big enough
