This is weird....The serial number for my outdrive starts with 276, which makes me believe it's a 270 or a 275 outdrive of some form. ALL of the diagrams for all the drives I could find show the oil filler opening above and to the right of the shifting linkage under the cover, but on mine, it's the starboard bow bolt on the TOP of the drive (near the dipstick), which I was only able to figure out after realizing it didn't look right compared to the rest. As well, the oil drain isn't located on the spine of the outdrive at the bottom, bout on the port side, near, but not at, the bottom. I haven't been able to find a diagram that shows either of these parts where they are on my outdrive. It does have a bolt on discharge for the exhaust. Any thoughts?
