Identifying mercury outboard S/N

Picked up a 1995 Mercury 60 2 stroke today but I can’t locate a S/N anywhere. Any ideas where to look or identifiers? I’d like to swap out the water pump and make sure I get the right one!

Sometimes one of the silver Welch plugs on the engine block might have a serial number stamped into it like shown in the following guide,
