Identifying a lower unit

I have a 1959 Mark 58A, but the lower unit is not from the 58A. Its from a different model, but im not sure which. I need to replace the water pump so i need to know the model. Is there a way for me to identify it? Ive attached pictures below.

Yup: looks like a newer one, and it doesn't interchange. You need the LU that does NOT have a thru-hub exhaust prop.

Yes... The thru prop exhaust lower unit has been modified to work with the 58A... I just need to know how to identify then unit in order to replace the water pump (an easy fix)
