identifying a 200hp johnson motor

I am just getting back into boating and got myself a new to me 22 CC and it came with a 200 hp johnson ocean runner. Not thinking I didnt even look to see if the motor had the identification tag on the mount.. Well its not there. I am trying to identify the motor and do a check to make sure its not stolen.
The guy I purchased it from seamed like a nice guy but that dosent me much.. There are numbers on the cylinder heads and also a silver plug in the middle of the top back of the motor with some numbers on it.. I hope I can find what I have with these numbers. Here are the numbers..

Silver plug about the size of a quarter.. #G3830446
Numbers on cylinder heads.. 340839 same number on both heads.

The serialnumber is #G3830446, check this number with the database of stolen outboard engines. If you call BRP (800-366-6992) they can probably tell you the correct modelnumber that belongs to this serialnumber. This engine are from about 1994 to 2000. You can easily identify if the engine is 1994 or 1995, if the connector that is on the engine from the boat wireharness has a big rubber red color connector. 1996 and newer are having 3 smaller deutsch connectors for the boat wireharness.
