I rebuilt my carbs on my Johnson 185,and dont see no reeds behind them.

Does an outboard two stroke,have to have them?I was told they are behind the carbs.

They sure are in there !!!!------ right behind the carburetors !!!---------------Do not believe it ?????------------Look it over on ---------shop.evinrude.com-------------All the parts breakdowns are there for you to look at.--------There are but a few 2 strokes that do not have them -eg Johnson TD / TN models from the early 50's , they used ports in what is called a 3 port engine.------Some used rotary valves as well.
