I need help IDing this 140 hp evinrude

The only #'s I could find are G3170964 on a silver plug on the back side of the motor.

Can you find a Model Number??

Im not sure what to look for? i don't see any #'s on the transom support

well that makes it harder I suspect from the looks of it you will find a model number similar to E140JJJJJ so E for Evinrude and 140 for the hp followed by 4-6 Letters. my next suggerstion would be to look trough our parts drawing and match the engine cowl/cover.
