I dont know what quickstart or no quickstart is!?!?

How do I know if my motor is has quickstart or not? Im looking at an ignition trouble shooting guide and it references quickstart vs non quickstart. I have a e150tlcos 1985 evinrude v6 150hp motor.
 
You do not have QuickStart.

QS is a built-in electronic feature, designed into the powerpack, that advances the timing on every start. If you have noticed, the engine starts way better if you advance the timing, which is done with the fast idle lever.
So, QS was incorporated to automatically do it for you.

It is an iffy "feature", in my opinion. Not really needed, and causes problems.

One way to tell if you have QS, is to look at the temp senders in the head. If a temp sender has two wires, a tan one AND a white/black one, the engine has QS.
