"pulled my boat out this aft,

"pulled my boat out this aft, alot of algae and brownish green build up...took a power washer to it to get the majority of it, but i'll have to get a stiff brush and scrub it off...I find it comes off alot easy when its wet...but do you guys use anything to spray on it to break it down and get it too come off easier? like a bleach based cleaner or something??
anything to make it come off a little easier, and get the brown stains off the hull...boats only a year old, I'd like to keep the hull in as mint condition as possible.
thanks

"If there is a gritty film on

"If there is a gritty film on the fiberglass I use cheap 28% toilet bowl cleaner at a carwash w/a long handled poly brush. WEAR RUBBER GLOVES.

If it's just stained then use KABOOM or a full strength degreaser like 409, Fantastic or Purple concentrate. Don't let the cleaner dry and rub it with a small stiff hand sponge. In small lakes or reserviors alot of the slime film is unburned outboard motor oil mixed with dirt in the water. A cleaner wax or polish will take off stubborn stains."

if you have some really stubbo

if you have some really stubborn stains you can go to your local boating store and buy (mary kates on-off) just make sure that you rewax after wards
