Hpdi 200 only runs with key in start position,

Hpdi starts and dies unless you keep key in start position

Defective key switch.

I've got twins with one of the two working right, I switched the harness at the helm and tried with he opposite key and it did the same thing so I figured the key was working. I do have the service manual and can do some of the test, but the ones requiring YDS or special cables that I don't own will probably have to go to a marina. I was hoping it was a common cure for this symptom, doesn't appear it is from web searches. Thanks a ton for the reply.

Did you ever figure out your problem? I’m in the exact same situation.

@OfficeDaze. Did you figure this out?? I have the same issue! I tried swapping key switches too, and did not change anything.
