How to remove tilt motor relays 270 drive, they look glued on

I'm pretty sure that cannot be done.
The newer style aluminum top has a ridge and an o-ring The ridge catches the nuts from the two plastic housing screws.
That keeps the box from lifting off when drive is fully lowered.
When it lifts off, the drive keep gong and beaks the aluminum top (my situation)
The older style aluminum top does not have a ridge.

My plan is to move everything except the limit switch to a transom mounted relay box. This old style is lower and interferes with the steering.
