" I'm looking to buy a pro
" I'm looking to buy a prop on eBay, but the seller says he cannot find a size or part#. Assuming the printed size by the blades and the part# on the hub can't be read, how can I tell him to determine pitch. He says he's measured the diameter at 13". Is there a measurement of distance and/or angle that I can tell him to perform to find out the pitch?
He says the prop came off a 1977 Evinrude 85HP. So that at least tells me it will fit the 13-spline shaft on my Evinrude 140.
Thanks "
