How to clean the cylinder head?

Raining all day, got so bored so I took the cylinder head cover off my evinrude 9.5. The engine runs mostly ok but it is very old engine and looks like overheated long time ago. I am planning to replace the head gasket and thoroughly clean the cover, but not sure about the cylinder itself. Can someone pls take a look at this video:

I have a few questions:
1 Does it look bad? I've never looked inside any cylinder head.
2 Do I need to clean up the carbon build up? Or don't bother, it's going to build up quickly. The wall looks mirror clean(hard to see in the video though)
3 If I do need to clean the head, what's the procedure and product to use? I imaging it is crucial to not leave any debris behind, Would vacuum cleaner be sufficient?

Actually, that looks very good for an old engine that used to run on leaded gas. Somebody has been in there and cleaned it before you came along. You can clean up the carbon by scraping, wire brush, whatever. Then rinse it away with some WD-40. Any that remains will be expelled as soon as it runs. Be sure to clean the gasket surfaces and use a new gasket.

Well-----I do not see anything that just HAS TO BE cleaned up here.-----It will run just fine the way it is.----Your cylinder head is warped ( they all are ) so clean it up with some emery paper on a piece of glass to make it flat again.
