How to check hours on 3.0GLP-D engine? This is on a 2006 Stingray 180RX.

I am a new owner that is trying to verify the number of hours on my boat's engine without having to take to a dealer. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this? Thanks.

Ayuh,... A compression test will tell ya the general condition of the motor...
Hours are only good for keepin' track of it's service intervals...
