"Tomorrow I'm looking at a skiff with a 1999 60hp Yamaha 2 stroke. I'd like to check compression, and I have the compression gauge but I don't know the procedure. Will someone please explain it to me.

Pull all of your spark plugs o

Pull all of your spark plugs out. Screw your gauge in one of the cylinders (with all the other spark plugs out). Then turn the motor over. This should give you a reading
