How do I dismantle a Honda tachometer?

I have a Honda 37250-ZV7-913 (HP-0243-001) tach that I want to dismantle. I can see that the mechanism needs to come out through the front of the unit but cannot see how to remove the front bezel/glass assembly.

Any suggestions?

Ian.

Remove the two nuts on the back and just pull the tach out the front?

Thanks for the reply - that is the tach I am looking at.

However, although I have removed the nuts on the clamp, the other pair under the clamp AND the two smaller nuts, the mechanism is loose but not coming out. I need to find out how to remove the bezel and glass.

I have tried unscrewing the bezel but it does not want to move.

Matbe there is some silicone holding it in?

I do wonder if the front bezel is screwed on with threadlock. We have tried holding the body and turning the bezel with a grippy cloth but no joy. I do not want to attack it with tools and risk damaging it.

Thanks for the suggestions, though.

I have seen a couple of posts on the forum where people have made adjustments to the mechanism on these tachos - how did they manage to separate the bezel and glass from the body?
