How can you know if your Oil injectoin is working?

how can i test.. new boat to me.. dont wanna screw it up with something as stupid as this..
i have replaced all the oil lines. finally got the boat running.. so i wanna make sure i dont trash it.

Pre mix the fuel in the tank with oil @ 50:1. Mark the oil level on the oil tank and take her for a long run.
