Hi all, 1994 Mercruiser 5.7 V8. Serial: 0F418132. Port side exhaust elbow (between the two rubber boots is running very hot after starting the engine. I removed the manifold and elbow and cleaned the waterways. I have pumped water through the manifold and elbow and have full flow I have replaced the water pump, i removed the hose to the manifold to check water flow from the pump (full flow). I have temporarily removed the butterfly valve from the bull horn but still no good.
Can anybody tell me if there is a possibility of a blockage or restriction from the bull horn down to the water. if so where and how to check.
