i am working on a 570A engine. i am replacing the cooling water hose that runs from the water outlet to the pipe that is used for power steering cooler using hose kit 876632. included in this kit is an O ring. my question is does the ring go on the hose before sending it through the transom; or does it go on between the hose and the connector? Any help would be appreciated.
