Honda nmea2000 gauges

Hello, new to the forum. I have a 2013 Honda BF250 with the nmea2000 gauges. Something is going on with the tach gauge. First, there is condensation under the glass. That comes and goes depending on the weather, so obviously an issue with the seal. Second, the gauge will cycle through an oil alarm and battery alarm. The alarm doesn't actually sound, just the light. Oil level is correct and battery is charged, so false alarms.

Any thoughts? Is the gauge toast or anywhere to send for repair? If replacement is the only option, can you buy these gauges online without going through a dealer? I have not been able to find them easy, so I suspect not.

Or, what would be your thoughts on going with analog gauges but adding something like a Garmin GMI 20 or equivalent for the nmea2000 information.

Thank you.

I can't say much about what's wrong with your existing gauge, or where to get a replacement - other than to just search ebay, etc.

As far as getting the readings via analog or on a GMI20... I'm assuming you already have a chart plotter... if it's any kind of modern, you likely already have nmea gauges built into that, and should be fairly cheap to get the connection kit for that, as opposed to other options.

Thanks. I do have a 545s, it is not hooked up to the nmea backbone so I didn't think of that. I'll swap a plug and use that. Thanks.
