Replaced a bent prop after a disagreement with a rock. The prop (new from Honda) now appears to have a slight "wobble". I purchased the Honda shop manual with the intention of replacing the shaft. Before I start, is there a maximum runout for the shaft that can be measured without disassembly?
The manual gives the maximum runout (after disassembly) for the Mercury version as .006" but no such tolerance is given for the Honda lower unit. Would the expectation be the same?
