Honda BF50 Help with battery cables?

Hey guys, simple question, can somebody please tell me where the positive and negative battery cables hook up on the bf50 50hp? Can I use just use two seperate battery cables or do I need a genuine Honda ones?

Also can somebody tell me what year this thing is - BF50 BAZL1008154

It is a 1995. The model is BF50A. This is the first year that the 50 HP Honda was made.

The official Honda battery cable includes, fuse holders and several other things. It costs over $300.

You could probably adapt individual cables if you know what you are doing. It has to tie in the fuses and power tilt unit. That is the recommended way to do it. Then you know it is right.

I recommend that you purchase a Honda Repair manual to help you determine where the connections should be made. Too much damage can be done if I try to explain the connections over the net and I am not as clear as I should be. Having a manual is worth the money for any future issues you may have with the motor.
