Honda BF130 Worthless?

My thermostat, thermostat gasket , and the car pcv is in the picture below, it is the stock one from Honda. The shop manual says it starts to open at 162, fully open at 180.

If you flush it after every use, you should be fine. I’ve given mine a heavy flush with vinegar once when I had an overheat alarm. That was the year after I got it. The Honda seems sensitive to overheat alarms.

I’ve been in Digby many times, best scallops in the world.

I think I’d pull my boat after every use if I had a 30 foot vertical tide.

The rise and fall of the tide isn’t a big deal just it’s easier to haul it out and then have no worries or tending the boat while not in use. Thanks for the pictures and info. I was talking to a Honda dealer this afternoon and they have thermostats in stock 60 degress ones

I just figure the scope on the moorings are crazy, if you used one.
