honda BF 130 lower unit removal

Update, for jammed lower unit (to replace water pump) for BF130 HP 1999 2000+ hours, Cape Cod Bay, salt water, lobster boat, finally removed lower unit, it was heavy corrosion in drive shaft aperture (shaft passage) just below power head, Extension housing bushing was free but needed replacing, I needed to DRIVE down unit, and I mean HAMMER WITH SLEDGE AND BLOCK OF WOOD, otherwise it was free, I rotated prop very bound up and alternated with hammering, lots of aluminum oxide (corrosion) dust and granules dropped down, it is on my work bench will be reinstalled in engine and boat in H2O tomorrow, lobsters are waiting.....Thanks to HONDA Dude for help and response, seems not common issue,
I do use marine grade lubes and synthetic oils, I am Marine diesel mechanic BIG stuff 10k to 40K hp so it was a mind bender
