My husband has an older model B75 and did not have the $ to pay to change the oil and the lower end. He is handy and do the work but needs the manual or instructions for the simple maitanance. Plugs, oil and filter ? Thank you

Carol,

If your husband has a B75, you can download an owner's manual for free from the Honda website.
http://marine.honda.com/Owners/Manuals/models/B75_7.5hp You have to pick the manual based on the serial number.

If it is actually a BF75, it will be this http://marine.honda.com/Owners/Manuals/models/BF75_7.5hp

These manuals give directions for changing oil, gearlube, etc. It will cover the routine maintenance that I think you are asking about.

If he is going to get into things more seriously, then you should go to Helminc.com http://www.helminc.com/helm/search_service_owner.asp?Style=helm&class_2=MAR&category=1&posted=1%20%0D%0D%0D

They are the official distributor for the Honda Service Manual that is used at Dealerships. I am not sure if they have any that cover the B75. I think they do have BF75 manuals though. If you are not sure which one, then call the contact number on the web site. These are the best Honda manuals on the market.

Hope he enjoys his motor.

Mike
