Honda 90 2004 just quit after running fine. Now turn the key nothing pt&t won't even work checked the fuses they were fine checked the power cable have power @the starter and cylinoide. Anyone got a idea?

Does the power tilt switch work at the engine?

Can you jump the starter solinoid to crank the engine?

Have to cleaned the battery connections and made them tight? A loose connection will allow you to measure 12v at the starter, but it will not carry enough current to operate the starter or power tilt.

Measure the voltage at the starter solinoid when you try to start it. Does the voltage go away or does it stay?

If you can jump the solinoid to crank, and your battery and connections are good, you probably have an issue in the wiring harness anywhere from the connector on the engine to the helm. Most likely place for a break would be where it comes out of the engine.

Recheck the 15 amp fuse.

Follow the white/black lead up to the helm and see if you have 12v there. Down load the owner's manual, if you do not have it from Honda http://marine.honda.com/pdf/manuals/31ZW0607.pdf The wiring diagram is in the rear of the manual. If the fuse is not blown, then you probably have a bad connection at one of the connectors, a broken wire, or a bad switch.

A little patience and tracing and I am sure you will find it.

No luck so far got fire everywhere I should on the motor just none coming back to the helm controls I must be missing something? Would the regulator have anything to do with it?
