honda 90 carbs

i have a honda 90 and the two bottom carbs were leaking out the side. i have seen this before and pulled them off rebuilt them with new jets and cleaned them with carb cleaner , reinstalled and the problem was still there. so i had had a spare set of carbs i had bought so i put them on and the same issue, but just with the two bottom carbs . i had a spare fuel pump so i changed it thinking to much pressure, didnt work either. all the parts inside carbs look good incliding the float and needle seat and i am at whits end trying to figure this out much less wearing the intake bolts out. if there are any suggestions i would love to hear them as seems everthing i do the same problem occurs!! thanks

If the fuel is coming out near the top of the carburator, somehow, the needle is not seating correctly. Make sure the float height is correct and recheck the needle and seat. Also, make sure the needle has the little black plastic piece on the top of it, where is connects to the float. If it is not there, the needle will not completely seal at the seat.

Before you put them back together again, hook your fuel line with the bulb directly to each one of the problem carburators one at a time, squeeze fuel into it and check to be sure there is no leak....before you put everything back together again. That will save a lot of cussing.

thanks for the help, took carbs apart again and found some rubber on one of needle seats. I ordered four new needles and replaced and realized the rubber was from fuel line from pump to carb., so i went to a local racing go kart shop and got some fuel hose and replace all four lines. So far, it is purring like a kitten and running good (knock on wood). Again thanks again and hopefully every thing continues to run good!!!
