Honda 50 max rpm's

On occasion I have pushed my engine up to 5800 rpms with the stock prop, getting about 30mph on my 16' runabout.
Somehow it doesn't feel safe to run the motor at this speed for any length of time.
So my question is, am i being overly cautious or are they built to withstand higher sustained operating rpm's ?

according to 50 service manual max rpm is 6000,so it is ok to run in 5800rpm ,after 6000rpm it will be activate over revaluation protection,so dnt worry about it your engine in safe rpm range.
